Amid the escalating impacts of climate change and the accelerating global energy transition, TIPC has remained committed to corporate governance as its foundation and port development as its mission since its establishment on March 1, 2012. Drawing on a century of port institutional development and the experience gained through the COVID-19 pandemic, the Company has advanced a dual transformation strategy centered on sustainability and digitalization. As global supply chains continue to be reconfigured, sustainable development has become a strategic imperative for ensuring the long-term, stable operation of port businesses while strengthening their resilience and competitiveness.

In 2025, through the collective efforts of its management team and employees, as well as close collaboration with industry partners and stakeholders, TIPC continued to strengthen its core port business while pursuing diversified development opportunities and steadily advancing its dual transformation strategy centered on sustainability and digitalization.

TIPC recorded operating revenue of NT$25.63 billion in 2025, a 3% increase from the previous year. Across Taiwan's ports, including the seven major international commercial ports of Keelung, Taipei, Taichung, Hualien, Kaohsiung, and others, cargo handled reached 690 million revenue tons, while container handled totaled 13.55 million TEU. These results demonstrate TIPC's continued success in strengthening Taiwan's port network as a key international logistics and maritime hub. They also reflect the resilience and service excellence of Taiwan's ports amid an increasingly dynamic global trade, geopolitical, and climate landscape — as shown through operational efficiency, infrastructure development, and cruise and tourism services.

To further integrate sustainable development into port operations and the broader port value chain, TIPC continues to uphold its four core values — Teamwork, Integrity, Professionalism, and Customers (TIPC). Guided by these values, the Company strives to deliver strong operational performance while protecting ecosystems and biodiversity, advancing decarbonization and energy transition initiatives, strengthening environmental and human rights management across the supply chain, and promoting shared prosperity among the port cluster, employees, local communities, and stakeholders. By embedding ESG principles into its corporate culture and business operations, TIPC is turning sustainability into a driving force for long-term growth and value creation. Together, all employees are working toward the Company's vision of building low-carbon, mutually prosperous, and resilient ports that support sustainable development for future generations.

With respect to environmental protection, TIPC promotes a low-carbon transition across its port network through the deployment of smart energy management systems, self-generation and self-consumption of renewable energy, and the implementation of various energy-efficiency initiatives. The Company also fosters a green office environment, steadily expands its carbon reduction efforts, and offers the Green Port Incentive Scheme to encourage value chain partners to reduce carbon emissions. These initiatives support the transition toward a low-carbon port cluster and contribute to the achievement of TIPC's greenhouse gas reduction targets: a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. These efforts also strengthen the Company's long-term sustainable competitiveness.

TIPC also places great importance on ecological conservation and biodiversity within its port areas. The Company continuously monitors air and water quality, ecological submerged breakwaters, mangrove ecosystems, and the conservation status of wild birds and flying foxes. These efforts support the implementation of biodiversity conservation measures across both marine and terrestrial environments, with the goal of developing environmentally sustainable and low-carbon ports.

In terms of social responsibility and shared prosperity with diverse partners, TIPC continues to maintain certification under both ISO 45001 and the Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Management System (TOSHMS), ensuring a safe working environment for employees and port operators. The Company also provides employee care and family-friendly workplace support, strengthens its sustainable talent development framework, and deepens engagement and collaboration with local communities and society. Through active participation in public welfare initiatives and local development efforts, TIPC seeks to foster a virtuous cycle of mutual growth and shared value among ports, cities, and communities.

With respect to business integrity, governance, and transparency, TIPC continues to advance digital transformation and actively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) applications. Through the development of smart port operations and management platforms, the Company is enhancing energy efficiency, operational safety, and the quality of business decision-making, while strengthening risk monitoring and response capabilities. By upgrading both the physical and organizational foundations of resilience, including infrastructure, systems, and talent, TIPC is building smart and resilient ports capable of addressing the challenges of climate change. Through this Sustainability Report, the Company provides comprehensive disclosure of its sustainability-related initiatives and performance.

Looking ahead, guided by the core principles of “stronger ports, tourism reinvigoration” and “intelligent operations, business sustainability,” TIPC will continue to advance toward its goals of transitioning to a low-carbon green port cluster, ensuring safe and environmentally sound port operations, fostering shared prosperity with diverse partners, building smart and resilient ports, and strengthening integrity-based and sustainable governance.

As TIPC moves toward the critical milestone of 2030, the Company will implement its five-year sustainability roadmap by further strengthening value chain collaboration and social engagement. By working together with government agencies, port partners, local communities, and stakeholders, TIPC is committed to building a more resilient, low-carbon, and inclusive port ecosystem. Through these efforts, the Company seeks to create a better future, become a trusted and leading sustainable port enterprise, and lead Taiwan's port network toward a more sustainable future.
