The ‘Transparent Crystal Award’ is a mechanism established by the Ministry of Justice to conduct integrity evaluations on public institutions through incentive measures. Implemented by the Agency Against Corruption, the evaluation adopts five major assessment criteria and involves a rigorous process of document review and on-site inspections by external experts and scholars. The aim is to guide agencies in self-examining the results of their integrity governance, and under the support and leadership of their heads, continue promoting transparency measures and implementing integrity risk management systems. By setting role-model benchmarks, the award seeks to spread positive energy, encourage mutual learning and exchange among agencies, and ultimately foster a virtuous cycle of good and transparent governance.

In 2024, our company represented the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in the 2nd Transparent Crystal Award. With ‘resilience’ as the core value, we uphold the principles of integrity in operations and transparent governance, embedding the spirit of integrity and capability into daily business practices to ensure that compliance is maintained while balancing administrative efficiency and public convenience. For this year’s competition, we showcased innovative integrity measures such as the Taipei Port Earthwork Exchange Integrity Platform, transparent management of commercial port fishing zones, and a well-established corporate governance system, which have won the recognition of external experts and scholars, making us the first state-owned enterprise to receive the National ‘Excellent’ Award in the ‘Overall Integrity Behavior’ category.
